Senior Software Development Product Owner/Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Development Product Owner/Manager to join our dynamic team in Plano, Texas. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodology and demonstrate a proven track record in product ownership and management within a software development environment. This role is critical in driving the vision, strategy, and execution of our software products, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear communication of product vision and requirements.
- Define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that it aligns with the overall product strategy and business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver high quality software products on time and within budget.
- Facilitate SAFe ceremonies, including PI Planning, Sprint Planning, and Retrospectives, to ensure effective team collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Gather and analyze feedback from stakeholders and end users to inform product decisions and enhancements.
- Monitor and report on product performance metrics, making data driven decisions to optimize product features and functionality.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in software development and agile methodologies.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong knowledge and experience as a SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager.
- Proven experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a focus on delivering customer value.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management software.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in leading cross functional teams in a fast paced environment.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and user centered design methodologies.
- Experience in working with cloud based technologies and platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7 10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on product ownership and management.
- SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering software products in an agile environment.
