**Exciting Opportunity for an Experienced Ultrasound Tech!** **Job Description** - Join our dynamic team as a Travel Ultrasound Technician! - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - Shift Details: - Days: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday - Call Requirement: 5-7 days of call per month **Qualifications:** - Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technician - Required Certifications: - Ultrasound ARDMS - Ultrasound ARRT - New Mexico State License (NM license) - Eligibility for ECHO license - Proficiency in performing various ultrasound procedures including: - OB - General - ECHO (optional) **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct all ultrasound procedures independently, adhering to department protocols for high-quality imaging. - Recognize and document pathologies for interpretation by the radiologist. - Ensure patient care, safety, and comfort during imaging processes. - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with safety and infection control guidelines. - Safely operate ultrasound equipment in accordance with departmental policies and manufacturer guidelines. - Document imaging procedures and patient information accurately in the electronic health record system. - Maintain an adequate supply of imaging materials and coordinate inventory replenishment as needed. **Additional Responsibilities:** - Responsible for timely diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist. - Skilled in abdominal, pelvic (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms. - Proficient in scanning small parts (thyroid, breast & scrotum) along with ultrasound-guided procedures including biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
