Senior Sterile Processing Technician – Sterile Processing

Shift Type: 5x8 (variable shifts) Typical Shift Coverage: Days: 0500-1330, 0630-1500, 0700-1530, 1000-1830, 1330-2200 Nights: 1900-0330, 2130-0600

Minimum 5 years of Sterile Processing experience At least 3 years in a shift lead/precepting/team lead role in a hospital setting Travel experience required Required Certifications: BLS CBSPD or HSPA/IAHCSMM (documentation required) Required Equipment/Process Experience: Da Vinci Xi (robotics) Sterilizers: Getinge Autoclave, Amsco Autoclave, Steris V-Pro, Steris System 1E Decontamination: Getinge 86 series washer, Triton 72 ultrasonic cleaner

Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the Sterile Processing Department. Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment. Train and orient new staff members and provide ongoing education to the team. Monitor compliance with safety and regulatory standards in the Sterile Processing environment. Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure efficient workflow and communication.

CA license required On-call: Yes (weekend/holiday 24-hour call coverage required) Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, New Year's Day) References: 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required.
