Growing together.The Associate Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for the completion of set processes and protocols. Works cooperatively with all members of the care team to support the vision and mission of the organization, deliver excellent customer service and adhere to Lean processes. Supports the teams in meeting financial, clinical and service goals.Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts between the hours of 6:30 am to 5:00pm. The supervisor will determine the schedule upon hire.Location: 4750 W. Oakey Blvd. Las Vegas, NV 89012. Travel may be required up to 10% of the time for coverage and training at other locations.Primary Responsibilities:Provide exceptional service to all customersResponsible to greet patient and check patient in and out. Ensure demographics including insurance information are correct in IDX and update as necessaryCollect appropriate co-pays and adhere to all cash handling policiesSchedule appointments as necessary, verifying correct visit type and primary care providerResponsible for waiting room management cleanliness, communicate pertinent information to patients and ensure all patients have been assistedWork with back-office staff to ensure smooth patient flowResolve service issues and complaints, and defer to appropriate management or clinical personnel when necessaryAssist co-workers and team members with duties when requested, to include but not limited to, floating to other areasPerforms additional duties as assignedWhat are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group? The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour based on full-time employment.
