Registered Nurse (RN) - CVOR

Circulating RN – Cardiovascular Operating Room

Shift: 4x10-hour days, Call: Required

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of cardiothoracic/cardiovascular surgery experience
• State or Compact nursing license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with cardiac surgical cases (CABG, valve procedures, TAVR)
• Skills in blood/blood product administration, IV starts, urinary catheterization, and specimen handling
• Experience with IABP and electrosurgical units is preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the cardiovascular operating room
• Circulate during surgeries, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols
• Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes
• Assist with the administration of anesthesia and monitor patient responses during procedures
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records and documentation

Compliance / Notes:

• All requested time off must be provided at the time of submittal
• Onboarding requirements must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Orientation modules to be completed onsite, RN modules average 4-6 hours (non-billable)
