IT Support Specialist (Field Services)

Salary: $60,000 - 75,000 per year Requirements:

• We need at least three years of hands-on IT support experience.
• We are looking for someone with strong customer service skills and a genuine drive to help others resolve technical issues.
• We require solid knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
• We need experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications and cloud-based business software.
• We are looking for experience troubleshooting computers, printers, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
• We need experience supporting POS hardware and retail technology.
• Familiarity with surveillance camera systems and electronic access control systems is required.
• We need a basic understanding of networking concepts, including wireless networking, VPN connectivity, printers, and internet access.
• The ability to recognize issues that require escalation and coordinate effectively with our Managed Service Provider is required.
• We need excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and time management skills are required.
• We are looking for someone who can prioritize multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to quickly learn new technologies and business systems is required.
• We require residence in the Phoenix metropolitan area.
• A valid drivers license and the ability to travel between company locations are required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• An associates degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field is preferred, with equivalent work experience considered.
• We need at least three years of experience providing end-user technical support in a business environment.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Windows, macOS, endpoint deployment, and IT asset management is required.
• Experience supporting retail technology, POS systems, security cameras, access control systems, and multi-location business operations is preferred.
• Experience working in a regulated industry is preferred but not required.
• We need the ability to sit for long periods while working at a computer.
• We need the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift frequently while installing and supporting technology equipment.
• We need the ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
• We need the ability to travel to our locations throughout Arizona and occasionally to Utah and New Jersey.

• We serve as the primary onsite technology support resource for employees across retail, cultivation, production, dispensary/pharmacy, and corporate operations.
• We provide prompt, professional, customer-focused support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, peripherals, and business applications.
• We install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and macOS computers.
• We set up employee workstations, deploy equipment, and support onboarding and offboarding, including hardware deployment, software installation, user access coordination, and equipment recovery.
• We support Microsoft 365 applications such as Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
• We provide first-level support for business applications, including point-of-sale, inventory management, ERP, and other operational software platforms.
• We install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot POS hardware, including registers, receipt printers, barcode scanners, cash drawers, payment terminals, label printers, and related peripherals.
• We support security technology, including surveillance cameras, video management systems, access control systems, and related hardware.
• We perform routine hardware installations, software updates, preventative maintenance, and equipment replacements.
• We maintain accurate IT asset inventory, equipment assignments, and software licensing records.
• We document support requests, resolutions, equipment deployments, and technical procedures.
• We coordinate repairs, warranty claims, vendor service appointments, and equipment replacements.
• We provide first-level support for network connectivity issues and coordinate advanced troubleshooting with our Managed Service Provider.
• We assist with new technology initiatives, equipment deployments, and system upgrades in partnership with the Sr. Director of Security & Facilities and our Managed Service Provider.
• We support cybersecurity initiatives by following established security protocols, assisting with user access requests, supporting endpoint deployment, and coordinating security-related activities with our Managed Service Provider.
• We provide end-user technology training and guidance as needed.
• We support technology needs for new store openings, remodels, office moves, and other operational projects.
• We travel to Arizona retail, cultivation, production, and corporate facilities, with occasional travel to Utah as business needs require.

We are The Flower Shop, and this IT Support Specialist role serves as our primary onsite technology support resource across Arizona. You will work closely with our Sr. Director of Security & Facilities and our Managed Service Provider to resolve routine technical issues, support new locations, and help keep employees equipped with reliable technology.
