Clinical Nurse Outcomes Coordinator RN Work location: 1301 Pennsylvania Ave., Fort Worth, TX 76104 Work hours: Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m., with flexibility based on department needs Department highlights: Opportunity to work on a brand-new unit in the beautiful Justin Tower MAGNET facility Level I Trauma Center Teamwork oriented approach Friendly and welcoming environment Extremely positive workplace with a culture of excellence What you need Master’s Degree Nursing required 2 years’ direct patient care experience 5 years of current hospital experience Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 90 days required Other CNL or other professional nursing certification within 12 months of hire required SSLP – Six Sigma Lean Professional Upon Hire Preferred Interpersonal skills, effective oral and written skills, collaboration and negotiation skills, and excellent organizational skills What you will do Collaborate with physicians and/or APRN for services needed as well as with other allied health care providers Partner with physicians by engaging in rounding to discuss priority of patients and patient care needs Participate in interprofessional rounds, leading when appropriate Collaborate with care transitions team to facilitate discharges, RCB measures, review of excess days and patient throughput Facilitate the development, implementation, monitoring, and assessment of processes that impact patient outcomes Use benchmark data from internal and external sources to identify opportunities for improvement of care and patient safety Incorporate the quality caring model in daily nursing decisions Participate in shared decision making by participating in councils as requested by nursing leadership Additional perks Benefits include 401(k), PTO, medical, dental, paid parental leave, flex spending, tuition reimbursement, student loan repayment programs as well as several other benefits Delivery of high quality patient care through nursing education, nursing research and innovations in nursing practice Strong Unit Based Council (UBC) A supportive, team environment with outstanding opportunities for growth Texas Health Fort Worth is an 851-bed, Magnet-designated, full-service hospital that has served the Fort Worth community since 1930.
