Call coverage required Monday-Friday 9:00 PM to 6:30 AM, and Saturday-Sunday 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs. Highlights: Level 1 Trauma Center with 18-bed operating room performing 45-50 surgical procedures daily Diverse surgical specialties including General Surgery, Robotic Surgery, Trauma, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Spinal, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Burns, Urology, GYN, and Transplant Advanced technology environment utilizing DaVinci Xi Surgical System and Epic charting Opportunity to work with complex cases including liver transplants, neurological procedures, and orthopedic surgeries 13-week assignment with up to 3 weekend shifts per contract period and one pre-approved time off period Float opportunities within the health system providing exposure to multiple units and specialties Requirements: Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required Level 1 Trauma Center experience required Hands-on experience with DaVinci Xi Robot (proficiency level 3 or 4) – required Liver transplant experience – required Experience in either Neurology OR Orthopedic surgical procedures – required Demonstrated ability to scrub for surgical procedures Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required Epic charting system experience required Valid RN license (Compact or Ohio state license in hand at time of submission) Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program Two professional references required (at least one from a manager, director, or formal leadership role) Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required Must comply with strict credentialing timeline including urgent Ohio fingerprinting process Preferred Experience: Ophthalmology (Eyes) ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) Genitourinary (GU) Plastics Burns Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers an exceptional opportunity to work in a high-acuity Level 1 Trauma Center environment with exposure to a comprehensive range of surgical specialties and cutting-edge robotic technology.
