REGISTERED NURSE - BEHAVIORAL HEALTH (FT DAYS)

Responsibilities Compensation: $35.00/hr. – $52.00/hr. Sign-on Bonus $10,000 12 Hour Shifts: 7a-7p Job Description Responsbilities: Responsible for the coordination and supervision of the direct patient care and program implementation for residents/patients in the acute care and residential programs. Assesses the patients/residents needs and coordinates/implements the delivery of quality nursing care, as prescribed by the Treatment Team / Physician. Provides safety and crisis management for the patient populations, and assures a safe and therapeutic environment. Exemptions: Workers may be exempt from the vaccination requirements by providing a signed exemption form indicating one of the following: Religious Beliefs Qualifying Medical Reason For Religious Beliefs: a written statement describing the worker’s sincerely held religious beliefs and how those beliefs conflict with Colorado’s public health order. For Medical Reason: a signed statement from a physician, physician assistant, advanced practice nurse, or certified nurse midwife licensed in the State of Colorado stating that the COVID-19 vaccination is medically contraindicated. Qualifications Knowledge and experience of nursing care and interventions with psychiatric patients. Knowledgeable of the psychotropic medications, potential side effects, and psychiatric diagnoses. Ability to direct others in the delivery of services, organize multiple tasks at one time, and problem solve situations under a fast paced environment. Ability to safely implement special treatment procedures. Ability to delegate responsibility to others and assure completion of shift duties. Skill in developing therapeutic relationships with clients of all ages, and work as a member of a treatment team. Experience/Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. CPR certification is also required. Must be licensed in the State of Colorado or hold a current compact license.
