About the Role:

Join our dedicated team at Loudoun Pediatric Dentistry as a Pediatric Dental Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in creating a positive dental experience for children. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about pediatric dentistry and helping young patients feel comfortable and cared for.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures and examinations.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment for use.
• Manage patient flow and ensure a welcoming environment for children and their families.
• Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene and dental care practices.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments.
• Handle administrative tasks, including billing and insurance processing.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
• Support the dental team in creating a fun and friendly atmosphere for young patients.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred.
• Experience in pediatric dentistry or a similar dental setting is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to rotate between Leesburg and Ashburn office is required.
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Current X-ray, BLS/CPR certifications are required.
• Positive attitude and a passion for working with children.
