Job Summary:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions. This role requires precise imaging skills and a thorough understanding of radiopharmaceuticals. The technologist ensures patient safety and maintains compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for imaging procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment to capture nuclear medicine images accurately.
• Monitor patient during procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Maintain detailed records of procedures, doses, and patient information.
• Collaborate with physicians to interpret imaging results.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards for radiation protection.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state license or certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Possess a degree or certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating nuclear medicine imaging equipment.
• Show strong patient communication and assessment skills.
• Maintain knowledge of radiation safety and compliance standards.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
