Cath Lab Technologist

Location: Orange Park, FL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, including rotating weekends and holidays.

Job Description: The Cath Lab Technologist will be responsible for assisting in patient care during diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cath lab setting. The technologist will utilize advanced equipment and support patient monitoring during procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in diagnostic left heart catheterization, PCI, STEMI, and other procedures.
• Monitor patients during procedures and provide necessary support in the prep/recovery area as needed.
• Maintain and operate advanced equipment, including GE Innova and Impella devices.
• Participate in a two-call team schedule, approximately 15-18 days per month.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a cath lab or similar environment.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Must possess a RCIS, RCES, or RT(R) certification.
• Advanced skills in scrubbing for LHC, RHC, PCI, STEMI, and peripheral procedures are essential.
