Job Details Per Diem Position – The Nuclear Imaging Technologist will be working at South Bay Cardiovascular, a leading cardiovascular medical group affiliated with nationally renowned St. Francis Hospital, The Heart Center®. Based in West Islip, the facility offers a broad range of expertise in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of all types of cardiovascular disease. Responsibilities Perform duties directly involving a variety of technical procedures in the application of radionuclides for diagnostic and treatment of disease in humans. Obtain quality diagnostic images at a technical level that does not require constant supervision. Perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Requirements Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technologist program. Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine). CT certification required. Basic Life Support (BLS). Licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist (L.N.M.T). Salary Range USD $55.65 / Hr. The salary range does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and does not include the value of benefits.
