Project Engineer

Job TitleHalker Consulting is a nationwide provider of multi-disciplined Engineering, Design, Project Management, Procurement and Field Services for Oil & Gas, and other Energy industry sectors.Halker Consulting specializes in Oil and Gas surface facilities, Power Infrastructure, Environmental Remediation and Design, Automation and Digital Solutions, and federal, state, and local regulatory compliance.LocationCentennial, COEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform strict adherence to and champion the Halker Project Delivery Process (PDP) for every project assignedDevelop the scope of engineering work, schedules, and budgets for assigned projectMonitor progress to meet schedule and budget requirementsResponsible for team performance to meet schedule, cost, and qualityCoordinate projects to ensure successful completion of the assigned project phases within the budgeted time and cost constraintsEnsure client criteria and scope are met by all engineering disciplinesOversee project deliverables for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer requirements, and related industry specificationsInitiate/participate in meetings to resolve technical and project issuesEvaluate and approve design changes, specifications, and drawing releases/reviews, as necessary with assigned engineering discipline leadsAbility to work with field employees and vendors as well as other disciplinesServe as technical resource for troubleshooting project related issues and problem solvingDevelop client relationship to ensure open communication between client and project teamCoordinate the installation, maintenance, and operation of oil field equipmentCompile project status reports and issues to Client on a weekly basis that includes a detailed description of deliverables and current budget/billing statusPreferred QualificationsBachelor Degree in Process or Petroleum EngineeringMust have at least 5+ years of project management and/or project engineering or relevant engineering/construction experience in the oil & gas industryUpstream and/or Midstream oil and gas experience preferredVendor interaction and coordination with field crewsProven experience in the direct oversight and management of facility and plant designExtensive experience with facility design including piping design, foundation design, structural design, instrument and electrical systems, distributed control systems, programmable logic controllers, process control basics, and safety systemsSkills RequiredMulti-tasking/working on various projects at the same timeMust be flexible and able to switch gears oftenStrong Relationship builder and with excellent written and oral communicationCompensation and BenefitsExpected base salary range: $105,000/year - $155,000/year.
