A-Line Staffing is hiring a Credentialing Specialist for an on-site role in Morristown, NJ .

Pay

• $30–$35 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

Assignment Details

• Target Start: October 19, 2026
• Hours: ~37.5/week

What You’ll Do

• Enforce regulatory compliance and support quality assurance in the credentialing process
• Process initial credentialing and re-appointments (approximately 125–200 quarterly )
• Collect, verify, and track provider documentation including:
• Professional licenses
• Certifications (BLS, ACLS, specialty certs)
• Education and training
• Work history and references
• Malpractice coverage
• Sanctions/exclusion screenings
• Background checks
• Maintain accurate provider records in a credentialing database ( Echo preferred )
• Prepare materials for committee meetings (Credentials Committee, MEC, Board of Trustees)
• Track license/certification expirations and ensure confidentiality throughout the process
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• 2+ years of physician credentialing experience in a hospital setting
• Experience verifying and maintaining credentialing documentation (licenses, certifications, education, screenings, etc.)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong computer and database skills ( Echo is a plus)
• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple deadlines, and work independently
• Strong verbal/written communication and attention to detail
