About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Duration: 1 Year Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 13 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of registered nursing experience or equivalent education in nursing. License: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Client or holds privilege to practice under the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Must-Have: A valid motor vehicle operator license may be required. Description: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse with experience equivalent to one year of registered nursing. Education equivalent to a bachelor's or graduate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university or a diploma in registered nursing from an accredited school of nursing is acceptable. Under general supervision, responsible for registered nursing duties of average difficulty based on a wide range of circumstances. Performs nursing care and procedures according to physician's orders and nursing protocol. Administers medication according to the physician's orders and protocol. Evaluates possible side effects and the overall effectiveness of medication. Performs Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), and other emergency responses. Participates in an emergency response setting. The end date is set for one year; however, this is based on nursing needs and may change at any time. No special schedules or time off requests will be accepted during the first 30 days.
