Job Title: Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: NOC Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years License: RN (Compact Accepted) Certifications: BLS-AHA; ACLS-AHA; CERT-FHM; NRP-AHA Must-Have: High risk and OB Triage experience, couplet care experience, high volume experience, intermediate fetal heart monitoring or NCC_EFM certification, EPIC experience. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery unit. The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery. The role requires high risk and OB Triage experience as OB triage is a part of this unit. Couplet care is a requirement of this position. Candidates should be comfortable working in a high volume environment. The unit handles approximately 350 births per month and deals with high acuity cases. Mandatory call is not required, but the traveler may be downstaffed up to 3 times during the contract, in which case they will be put on call and are expected to report within a 45-minute window. Time off must be approved at the time of the offer; no time off will be approved after confirmation has been sent.
