Inventory SpecialistMitchell Companies is looking for an Inventory Specialist to help maintain accurate inventory levels and support efficient warehouse operations. This position plays an important role in ensuring inventory is properly counted, received, documented, and maintained throughout the warehouse.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, comfortable working with inventory systems, and able to identify and resolve discrepancies in a fast-paced warehouse environment.Why Join Mitchell?Base salary of $45,000 annuallyBonus opportunity of up to $6,000 annuallyMonday–Friday schedule 5:30 AM - 2:00 PMConsistent daytime hoursStable, year-round employment with an established companyOpportunity to play a key role in warehouse and inventory operationsBenefits and additional opportunities available based on company eligibilityWhat You'll DoPerform daily cycle counts of designated products, including lineside and backstock inventoryInvestigate inventory discrepancies and process necessary adjustments to maintain accurate recordsCreate and update inventory locations for new products and changes in storage capacityProcess inbound purchase orders and verify inventory received into the warehouse systemDocument and process claims for damaged products or supplier-related issues identified during receivingMonitor warehouse equipment and communicate potential issues that may impact inventory or operationsCommunicate daily with warehouse management regarding inventory discrepancies, equipment concerns, and operational issuesMaintain accurate documentation related to inventory counts, adjustments, and investigationsAssist with special projects, process improvements, and other operational requestsPerform other warehouse-related duties as assigned by managementWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or GED equivalent; some college preferredStrong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracyExcellent communication and organizational skillsStrong time management and problem-solving abilitiesProficient computer skills and the ability to learn and use inventory management systemsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamComfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environmentWork Environment & Physical RequirementsThis is an active warehouse position.
