We are currently seeking a Medication Aide Level 1 to join our team at Eastern Reception, Diagnostic, and Correctional Center located in Bonne Terre, Missouri. The Medication Aide Level 1 (MO) under the direction of the facility Director of Nursing / nursing designee, administers medications as prescribed; and documents the medication effectiveness and any noted adverse actions or side effects.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Preferred to have current active Level 1 Medication Aide certification from the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) or the Department of Mental Health (DMH) which may also be referred to as DD Medication Aide (mo.tmutest.com).Insulin certification preferred.Must complete required continuing education to maintain certification (minimum of four (4) hours of medication administration training every two (2) years). Required training will be documented and maintained in Employee File.
