Job DescriptionPay: $17.75 per hour. Management & Training Corporation (MTC) operates the Bluebonnet Detention Facility in Anson, TX. We provide a safe and secure working environment for our staff while helping non-citizens gain valuable skills and treatment necessary for success upon release.What you'll do:Prepare and review intake packets. Proofread records or forms including arrival and release files; copy needed information from one record to another as required.Operate office equipment such as computers, fax machine, and copy machine.Perform input and output operations and make adjustments necessary to ensure schedules are met.Perform duties including typing correspondence, form letters, accountability forms, status reports and input/output forms in a timely manner.Perform data entry and proofread records or forms.Maintain files on department records, cards, forms and correspondence sent, received and/or requiring further action.Regular attendance required.Promote the development of positive social skills through modeling appropriate behaviors and intervening when inappropriate behaviors are observed.Maintain accountability of detainees and property; adhere to safety practices.Education & Experience Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent and computer proficiency required.One (1) year of clerical, administrative or related experience, including computer data entry experience is preferred.Must have successfully complete required preservice training.Valid driver's license in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.Make a positive impact in your community by doing meaningful work that results in a rewarding career.Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
