Studio Team in c/o: Black women $20-$30/hr

Studio Team Member(s) in c/o: Black women is seeking reliable, hands‑on studio team member(s) to support ongoing social practice art projects rooted in public space, land stewardship, and community engagement. This role will primarily support two land‑based projects in Englewood and requires someone who is self‑directed, responsible, and committed to making art accessible to all people. Responsibilities include regular site stewardship such as landscaping, mowing, debris cleanup, planting and harvesting sunflowers, papermaking using plant materials, building rainwater catchment systems, and supporting logistics for volunteer days and public activations. The role also includes fabrication and shop support. Candidates should have experience working with wood, building structurally sound objects, using a woodshop safely and confidently, maintaining a clean and organized shop, and handling basic equipment repairs when needed. Applicants must be comfortable working independently and managing tasks without constant direction. A valid driver’s license is required; experience driving a cargo van is a plus.
