Staff Auditor

Location: San Rafael, CA
Hybrid schedule – 3 days in office / 2 days remote.
Compensation: $150,000

About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented Staff Auditor to take ownership of audit, review, and compilation engagements from start to finish. You'll work directly with clients, manage complex projects independently, and play a key role in delivering high-quality assurance services. This is your opportunity to grow your audit expertise while building lasting client relationships.

What You'll Do

Execute and finalize audit, review, and compilation engagements with precision
Own client relationships and build trust through professional, collaborative partnerships
Manage your own schedule and client files efficiently—autonomy meets accountability
Take on special projects and client matters that come your way, expanding your skillset

Who You Are

Education: Bachelor's degree (required to sit for the CPA exam)
Experience: 5+ years in accounting and GAAP compliance (required). Background in accounting or attest functions is a plus.
Skills You Bring:
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong communicator who thrives in a team environment
- Self-motivated and organized
