Job Title

Registered Nurse – CVOR

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate complex cardiac and vascular cases including Adult Heart and Lung Transplant, Type A Dissections, CABG, Valves, TAVRs, AAA, EVARs, TEVARs, and FEVARs
• Support surgical service lines including Adult Cardiac, Thoracic, Transplant, Vascular, Bariatric, Pancreatic/Biliary, Colorectal, Plastics, Endocrine, Surgical Oncology, Urology, and Minimally Invasive Surgery
• Utilize robotic-assisted surgical platforms, including da Vinci systems, as applicable to assigned cases
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic health record system
• Provide holiday coverage as needed, including one major holiday per contract (on-call or in-house)
• Be prepared to participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June–November), with peak activity in August and September

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or multi-state RN license must be in hand at contract start
• BLS certification required – must be American Heart Association (AHA)
• ACLS certification required – must be American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Demonstrated ability to circulate complex cardiac and vascular cases
• Radiation badge required; to be provided by the agency
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience scrubbing cardiac and vascular surgical cases
• Prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, or Magnet-designated hospital
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
