Assignment: 1-1 position for student with trach and g tube needs

About the Role Hello, Lpns! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a licensed practical nurse (lpn) to provide care for students in lakewood, wa. This role focuses on supporting medically fragile student and/or diabetic students 1-1 throughout the school day, potentially including transportation needs. What You'll Do

• Provide nursing support to students in school
• Assist with safe transfers, including on/off the school bus
• Monitor student health status and respond to medical needs
• Collaborate with school staff and family to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans
• Support student access to school throughout the day

What We're Looking For

• Active washington state lpn license (doh) or compact multi-state nursing license
• Experience with trach care, g-tube required
• Must have current car registration and passport or enhanced driver's license
• Pediatric experience strongly preferred
• Ability to pass fingerprinting and background check
• Reliable, attentive, and comfortable in a pediatric setting
