Your mission? To protect the integrity of high-pressure boiler systems, optimize cooling water performance, reduce downtime, and help our customer meet their reliability, production and sustainability targets.This is the role for a water treatment expert who thrives in the field—someone who knows how to troubleshoot a system, spot risks before they escalate, and confidently engage plant teams as a trusted advisor. If you’ve ever kept a 1200 PSI boiler humming or tuned a cooling tower to perfection, we want to hear from you.**Your Key Responsibilities**In this role, you will:* Serve as the on-site technical lead for all Solenis programs—boiler, cooling, and wastewater—working directly with customer engineers and operations teams.* Nurture customer relationship and interact routine with site leadership team to drive long-term relationship.* Design and maintain optimized treatment programs based on system demands and plant goals.* Implement hands-on diagnostics, lab testing, data analysis, and process control to drive measurable results.* Identify and execute value-creation initiatives such as cost savings, water reuse, asset life extension, and sustainability improvements.* Monitor chemical inventories, ensure timely delivery, and coordinate with supply chain partners.* Report program performance and key KPIs to internal and customer stakeholders.* Act as the safety champion for all site activities related to chemical handling, equipment, and compliance.* Support the Corporate Account Manager and broader Solenis team with growth strategy, new technologies, and customer satisfaction efforts.**What You Bring*** A strong background in **industrial water treatment**—especially in **boiler systems**, **cooling towers**, or **wastewater**.* Proven experience treating **high-pressure boilers (1000+ PSI)** or managing complex chemical programs for **process-critical steam systems**.* Familiarity with boiler treatment chemistries (e.g., oxygen scavengers, amines, phosphates), cooling water cycles, and wet lab testing protocols.* Knowledge of chemical feed systems, sampling techniques, and system monitoring tools.* Ability to speak the language of operations and utilities teams with credibility and clarity.* Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field preferred (Chemistry, Engineering, Environmental Science); relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu.* Minimum 7 years of relevant industry experience, ideally in refining, chemicals, or heavy industry.* U.S. work eligibility required—or **Canadian candidates open to relocation** with sponsorship support.**Why Join Solenis?*** Competitive base salary + performance bonuses* Comprehensive health, wellness, and insurance benefits* Opportunity to make a tangible impact on sustainability and asset performance* Clear career progression within a global leader in industrial water solutions* 15 days of paid time off* 401(k) plan with company contribution* **Relocation support** available for qualified candidates**About Solenis**Solenis is a leading global producer of specialty chemicals, delivering sustainable solutions for water-intensive industries, including consumer, industrial, institutional, food and beverage, and pool and spa water markets.Owned by Platinum Equity, our innovative portfolio includes advanced water treatment chemistries, process aids, functional additives, and state-of-the-art monitoring and control systems.
