Job Overview The Vice President – Credit and Data Analytics will assess, monitor, and manage the potential for financial loss due to the default of a bank's trading partners. This role focuses on monitoring exposure, analyzing creditworthiness, developing credit scoring models, conducting stress tests, negotiating collateral agreements, and leading data‑analytics and underwriting‑strategy initiatives. Key Responsibilities Monitor the bank's exposure to counterparties across product lines and asset classes. Analyze the financial condition and creditworthiness of corporations, financial institutions, and sovereign entities. Develop and implement credit scoring models to quantify counterparty risk. Conduct stress testing to assess the impact of potential counterparty defaults on capital and liquidity. Negotiate and manage collateral agreements to mitigate loss potential. Develop underwriting‑strategy models using statistical techniques such as CHAID decision trees and optimization procedures, and support score implementation. Optimize initial credit line strategies, evaluating line‑assignment dynamics and profitability. Perform model valuations to evaluate existing strategies and identify opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with Segment, Strategic Analytics, and Decision Science staff to ensure project completion within agreed time frames. Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting for senior management, covering customer behavior, balances, payment behavior, delinquency, and credit loss characteristics. Supervise two AVP Credit Analysts and provide coaching and guidance. Advise stakeholders and senior management on risk mitigation, control, and governance initiatives. Collaborate with business units to align analytical solutions with corporate strategies. Work Arrangements This hybrid role may involve a mix of on‑site presence and telecommuting in accordance with company policies.
