Regional Field Manager - Palm Beach

Regional Field Manager (Grassroots Engagement Director) Americans for Prosperity is the premier grassroots organization focused on advocating solutions to the country’s greatest challenges. As a Regional Field Manager you will identify, recruit, and engage grassroots leaders in Palm Beach, mobilize them to take action, and drive policy reforms that open opportunities for all. Responsibilities Identify activists in various parts of the state who are currently or could become leaders in their local communities, and motivate them to advocate for change. Equip local leaders to advocate for changes consistent with AFP principles by connecting them to AFP training and resources. Organize events and mobilization efforts such as phone calls, social media outreach, and neighborhood walks to engage the public, and develop innovative ways to educate constituents on public policy issues. Maintain regular contact with activists to keep them motivated, educated, and active. Manage part-time canvassing contractors, ensuring time management, compliance with laws and regulations, and best practices. Qualifications Passion for people, ability to build relationships quickly with diverse groups, and understand how to inspire and motivate them. Knowledge of state and federal public policy landscapes. Self-motivation and a commitment to using time efficiently to accomplish objectives. Strong organization skills and the ability to manage multiple events and activities for oneself and engaged volunteers. Team player who collaborates well with AFP staff and activists. Excitement for canvassing neighborhoods, making phone calls for AFP priorities, and coordinating volunteers. A valid driver's license to travel to meet people in the area and across the state. Willingness to work a flexible and changing schedule, including evenings and weekends. Integrity, humility, and an entrepreneurial attitude. Enthusiasm to contribute to Stand Together's vision and principled approach to solving problems, and to steward culture that champions transformation, innovation, entrepreneurialism, humility, and respect. Experience in grassroots advocacy, community organizing, and/or political campaigns. Volunteer or staff supervisory experience.
