Ophthalmic Patient Technician (COT)

Laser Eye Institute is seeking an Ophthalmic technician to join our team of dedicated professionals. As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care by performing various diagnostic tests and assisting the physicians during eye exams and surgical procedures. Responsibilities Perform accurate and thorough diagnostic tests Take patient histories and document all findings accurately in electronic medical records system Provide patient education on preoperative and postoperative instructions, including medication use and restrictions Maintain and clean ophthalmic equipment and instruments Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in Ophthalmology Strong knowledge of ophthalmic terminology, procedures, and medications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with physicians and clinical staff We are seeking full and part time candidates.
