Outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Vascular Surgery

Inova Vascular Surgery is looking for an experienced LPN Outpatient to join the team. This role will be full-time, Monday‑Friday, day shift hours 8‑am to 5‑pm. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates. Job location: 8081 Innovation Park Dr., Suite 800 Fairfax, VA 22031. Travel to other clinics may be required on a needed basis. Schedule : Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Outpatient provides basic therapeutic nursing care according to established standards of practice under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN). The role includes caring for patients whose care requirements are routine/standardized with predictable outcomes, assisting the healthcare team to achieve desired patient outcomes, and participating in quality and performance improvement initiatives. Job Responsibilities Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process under the direction and supervision of the RN. Maintains and reviews patient medical records, notes, and physician orders while documenting all patient care activities in accordance with documentation standards. Participates on unit teams, work groups, or committees. Participates in quality and performance improvement initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Basic Life Support certification upon start. Licensed Practical Nurse or eligibility to obtain license in Virginia upon start. No prior experience required. Education: Vocational/Technical Nursing. Preferred Qualifications At least 1 year of experience as Medical Assistant or LPN in an ambulatory clinical setting.
