Providence Surgery and Procedure Center has an immediate need for a full time Endoscopy Technician. What You Will Do (Job Summary): The Endoscopy Tech assists the Endoscopy team during endoscopy procedures. They arrange and set-up for upper endoscopies and colonoscopies, and work closely with the doctor at the bedside to assist during the endoscopy procedure. Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning/stocking the endoscopy room. The Endoscopy Tech also alternates between being a tech in the procedure room with the cleaning of scopes on alternating schedules. The Endoscopy Tech is responsible for the provision of care to meet identified patient outcomes and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed. Required Skills High school Diploma or GED 1+ years Endoscopy Tech experience preferred Working knowledge of standard gastroenterology procedures is a plus Current CPR or BLS accredited by AHA (or will obtain within 30 days of employment) Endo Tech certification is a plus Who We Are We are part of a much larger team with United Surgical Partners International (USPI).
