Overview Travel Physical Therapist (PT) Company: Fusion Medical Staffing Facility: Wilson, North Carolina Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist for a 13‑week travel assignment in Wilson, North Carolina. Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement physical therapy treatment plans using exercise, manual therapy, and specialized equipment. Operate and maintain specialized physical therapy equipment and modalities safely and effectively. Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and accurately document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize treatment outcomes. Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection control protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards. Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities to remain current with best practices. Collaborate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions and continued patient progress. Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations. Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, or new graduates may apply. Prior Physical Therapy experience. New graduates are welcome. Ability to read, write, and clearly communicate in English. Physical abilities: can remain in a stationary position, move equipment 50-100 lbs, lift/push/pull, bend, and maneuver within a clinical setting. Technical/motor skills: fine manipulation, operating department equipment, and supporting procedures. Mental requirements: coping with frequent public contact, meeting deadlines under pressure, and working both independently and under close supervision.
