Position Registered Nurse – Resource Team (PACU) Compensation & Schedule Weekly stipend: $1,246 Hourly: $17.00 – $17.29 Weekly base pay: $680.0 – $691.6 Contract type: Onsite Hours: 10 hours/day, 4 days/week (40 hours) Start date: 3/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift times: 0730-1800 Weekend rotation: Every 5th‑6th weekend, call only (Saturday 0700 – Monday 0700) On‑call: 1 weeknight per week, 1700‑0700, 30‑minute response, no sleep rooms Holiday expectations: 1‑2 holidays per year, call only Facility 250 Hospital Drive, Lexington, NC 27292 96 licensed beds Primary Stroke Center Teaching hospital with residents Not Trauma Designated Not a Chest Pain Center Unit Details 10 PACU bays Average patients/day: ~400 cases/month Minimum PACU experience: 3 years First‑time traveler accepted Patient types: Ortho (total joints, sports medicine), general, urology, DaVinci, GYN, ENT, Peds (dental), podiatry, scar revisions, regional anesthesia, blocks No spine, cardiothoracic, cranial, or high‑level surgeries Patient ratios: 1:1‑2, depending on case and acuity Required Licenses & Certifications BLS ACLS PALS Georgia or Alabama nursing license (active, unencumbered) Required Skills & Experience Phase I recovery of general anesthesia, MAC anesthesia, moderate sedation Can scrub and assist in OR when needed EPIC EMR experience Experience with above patient types Physical ability to lift 35 lbs, stand 8+ hrs, etc. Strong critical thinking and ability to respond quickly Proficiency in documentation and communication Minimum Job Requirements Graduated from an accredited school of professional nursing Valid nursing license (Georgia or Alabama) BLS & ACLS required 3+ years of nursing experience in specialty area (PACU) required Preferred Qualifications BSN preferred Additional certifications/training as required by department Physical & Working Conditions Walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling; must lift 35 lbs Must speak English in good, understandable terms Intact senses, finger dexterity Physical abilities testing required Protected Health Information Limit access to PHI to information reasonably necessary Share information only on a need‑to‑know basis Controlled access via user ID and password EEO Statement TalentBurst is an equal opportunity employer committed to an inclusive and diverse workforce. #J-18808-Ljbffr
