EMT, Paramedic or LPN (PRN)

Onsite Health Technician (PRN) Location: Topeka, KS. Medcor’s occupational health clinic is seeking an EMT, Paramedic, or LPN to serve as an Onsite Health & Wellness Technician. The role evaluates and treats onsite injury and illness, serves as a resource and liaison for health and wellness program implementation. Hours of Operation Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 11:00 am – 7:00 pm (No guaranteed hours; available for occasional shifts). Job Duties and Responsibilities Respond to and provide work‑related injury/illness assessment and treatment within license scope and standard operating procedures. Ensure positive client experience, supporting high satisfaction and long‑term retention. Apply knowledge of occupational health and regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, ADA) and stay current with industry standards. Collaborate with client department managers, HR, environmental health & safety, security, and other partners to coordinate standardized services. Attend scheduled meetings, training, and events as required by PAS. Work collaboratively with Medcor medical and operational leadership, local providers, and client staff. Facilitate and manage workers’ compensation cases with third‑party administrators, including transitional duties and return‑to‑work programs. Required Job Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (GED). BLS certification. Valid EMT, Paramedic, or LPN license/certification. 1–2 years of clinical experience in the current field. Desired Job Qualifications CPR, PALS, ACLS certifications. Experience in an occupational healthcare setting. Knowledge of health and safety concepts and protocols. Experience with medical records, including EMR. Knowledge of workers’ compensation and safety event reporting. At least 1 year of field experience as EMT or Paramedic providing confident care. Strong communication, critical thinking, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills. Physical Requirements / Working Conditions Frequent walking up to 1–2 hrs per shift. Work environment includes moderate to noisy conditions depending on facility. Ability to lift or move a patient and assist ambulation.
