Your future role at a glance Location: Austin, TX Facility: Ascension Seton Medical Center Department/Specialty: Emergency Department Schedule: Full-time | Night Shift How you'll make an impact in this role Lead the NursingShift Coordinator teamto deliversafe, high-qualitypatient care whilemeeting daily clinicaland operational objectives. Coordinate nursingassignments based onpatient acuity, staffingneeds, physician priorities, and population-specificcare requirements. Monitor nursing staffperformance, provide education, and promote clinicalquality, patient safety, compliance,and productivity standards. Collaborate with theinterdisciplinary teamto resolve patientcare concerns, coordinateresources, and supporteffectivecare delivery. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted. Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. One or more of the following required: Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted. Required if working in adult critical care setting. Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Required if working in labor & delivery setting. Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Required if working in labor & delivery setting. Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted. Required if working in pediatric critical care setting. Education: Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
