Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room

Primarily responsible for applying the nursing process to the care of patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room. This includes assuring that appropriate documentation reflects assessment of patient needs, interdisciplinary treatment plans, clinical intervention, and evaluation of patients' responses to treatments. Responsible for assigning and evaluating the work of non-nursing direct care providers assigned to the operating room. The candidate must be able to scrub and circulate all types of cases. Competency is required in General Surgery (laparoscopic and robotic), orthopedics/spine/podiatry, urology, ENT, and vascular procedures. No call, weekend, or holiday shifts required.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience License: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license Certifications: BLS - AHA Must-Have: - Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. - Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
