X-ray/Rad Tech

The X-ray/Rad Tech is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. They operate imaging equipment and ensure high-quality images are captured while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols.
• Operate X-ray and radiologic equipment following established standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide accurate diagnostic images.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of procedures performed.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and infection control procedures.
• Monitor and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Hold current state licensure and ARRT certification in radiography.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating X-ray and radiologic imaging devices.
• Possess strong attention to detail and patient care skills.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Have minimum of 1-2 years of imaging experience preferred.
