Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position requiring NC or compact RN licensure and ACLS certification.

Details

• Work in the Medical Surgical unit of a hospital, on a combined MS/Tele unit with separate telemetry techs
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:00
• Some weekends and holidays required
• EMR system used is MEDITECH, though experience is not required

Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) required and must be in hand, not pending, at time of consideration
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AHA only
• IV Start skill required
• 2 years of RN experience preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Two supervisory references required

Additional Information

• Provide medical-surgical nursing care within a combined MS/Tele unit environment
• Local candidates accepted at the standard rate
• Requested time off (RTO) should be kept to a minimum and must be submitted for facility approval prior to offer
