Geriatrician

The Albany Medical College Division of General Medicine and Geriatrics is recruiting a board eligible/board certified geriatrician to join the faculty as a clinician educator for fellows and internal medicine residents. Our practice consists of an active homecare practice serving 11 counties in Northeastern New York and an outpatient internal medicine primary care teaching division which is the outpatient continuity training site for the geriatrics fellowship and half of our internal medicine training program. The practice is also a teaching site for medical students in years 1-4 and physician assistant and pharmacy students. Our geriatric fellowship program is a unique academic and community partnership between Albany Medical College and the Eddy Senior Care system of St. Peter's Health Partners, with inter-professional training sites in a variety of care settings. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to combine a part-time home visit practice with outpatient consultations and a Geriatric primary care panel.
