Dual-Certified CT / Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Mobile Unit Traveler)
We are seeking a dual-certified CT and Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment with a mobile imaging unit. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with advanced imaging technology while traveling within a local radius. PET experience is highly preferred. The traveler will work from a mobile unit, and locations may vary within a 40-minute driving radius.
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT and Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures following established protocols
- Operate PET imaging equipment (preferred experience)
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during procedures
- Maintain imaging equipment and ensure quality control standards
- Accurately document patient information and imaging results in the EMR
- Follow radiation safety and infection control guidelines
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff
- Travel to assigned mobile unit locations as scheduled
Requirements:
- Active CT and Nuclear Medicine certifications
- PET experience preferred
- Ability to travel within a 40-minute radius
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards
