Unit Manager, RN

We are looking for a Unit Manager RN who would like to combine their love for people and strong work ethic to join our hard-working team! A full time RN is needed for the position of Unit Manager for Wyandot County Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Monday-Friday 8:30 to 5pm (hours may vary slightly due to needs of facility), will be on the administrative nurse on call rotation. This nurse must have excellent clinical, supervisory and people skills. Will report directly to DON. Some duties include but not limited to Making sure the restorative programs are getting done. Supervises and monitors work of assigned staff for compliance with standards of care and facility policy and procedures. Performs professional nursing care functions Performs supervisory tasks such as reviews performance and discipline Help other nurses fill vacant positions Discuss care needs and issues with residents and family members as needed Assist nurses and STNA with cares as needed Maintains confidentiality in accordance with County policy and all applicable laws and regulations Creating forms as needed for nursing department Will need to be nurse for Telehealth visits Assures appropriate daily documentation and assessments are completed accurately and timely Coordinates nursing services with other entities as needed Assists Admissions Coordinator with approving residents for admission and making sure appropriate equipment is in room Assist other administrative nursing staff with staff education and survey prep All other duties as assigned by Administrator or DON Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $36.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid holidays Paid sick time Paid time off Prescription drug insurance Retirement plan Vision insurance Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr Socket.dev
