Business Director, Enterprise Tech Analytics

The Enterprise Tech Analytics team brings data, analytics, and insights to shape critical technology decisions and strategy at Capital One. We work closely with Technology leaders and senior executives in shaping strategic direction, automating real-time data and improving data based decision-making. The team is composed of people with diverse skills and backgrounds including: data analysts, data scientists, consultants and strategists, data engineers, machine learning engineers, and business analysts. Responsibilities Strategic problem solving: Identify high impact opportunities to transform the associate experience, conduct analysis, and share insights that inform solutions Design: Drive and build key programs and analytics solutions for our partners, including measurement strategy, attribution modeling, and automated insights Experimentation: Partner with clients in experiment design to better understand key drivers of associate behavior Insights & analysis: Analyze the impact of our programs and combine those insights with the latest thinking in organizational science to help our clients make data-driven, informed decisions Develop the Team: Direct work and mentor the more junior associates on the team. You will play a critical role in professional growth and improving problem-solving, analytical skills, and communication. Previous consulting experience is a plus Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree At least 4 years of experience performing quantitative analysis At least 4 years of experience performing qualitative analysis At least 2 years of experience performing people management At least 2 years of experience performing project management Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree 2+ years of experience in financial services 1+ year of experience in consulting Capital One will consider sponsoring a new qualified applicant for employment authorization for this position. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. McLean, VA: $230,400 - $263,000 for Business Director New York, NY: $251,400 - $286,900 for Business Director Richmond, VA: $209,500 - $239,100 for Business Director Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
