Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team, specializing in Labor and Delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-risk obstetrics and a commitment to providing exceptional care to patients during labor and delivery.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate and competent nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
Monitor and manage the health and comfort of patients during labor.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to devise and implement patient care plans.
Assist in high-risk deliveries, using certified advanced neonatal resuscitation techniques.
Document patient care, assessments, and response to treatments accurately and timely.
Educate patients and their families on childbirth and postpartum care to promote understanding and wellness.

Required Qualifications

1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (ANRP) Certification.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field.
Five (5) or more years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery, preferably within the last two (2) years.
One (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years.
Experience in high-risk obstetrics is preferred.

Shift Information

This position requires working from 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM.
