Automotive A/C Installer

Join a leading ambulance manufacturing company in Sanford, Florida, and help build life-saving emergency vehicles. We are seeking an experienced Automotive A/C Installer who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Install automotive air conditioning and climate control systems in newly manufactured ambulances.
• Mount and connect A/C components, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, hoses, fittings, and electrical controls.
• Charge A/C systems with refrigerant and perform leak detection and pressure testing.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot A/C system issues during assembly.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
• Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work closely with production team members to meet manufacturing deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience installing or servicing automotive A/C systems is required.
• Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and HVAC components.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.
• EPA Section 609 Certification is a plus but not required.

• Competitive pay: $22.00$26.00 per hour, depending on experience
