TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic sonographic examinations. This role requires expertise in imaging technology, patient care, and collaboration with physicians to assist in accurate diagnoses and treatment planning.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, and small parts imaging.
• Prepare and position patients to obtain optimal imaging results while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper function and image quality.
• Review images for clarity and completeness, and provide accurate preliminary findings to physicians.
• Educate patients and families about ultrasound procedures and address questions or concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures and adhere to regulatory standards.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and patient confidentiality protocols.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare team members to support patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field required.
• Certification by the ARDMS or ARRT in sonography required.
• State licensure as applicable by law.
• Previous clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound preferred.
• Knowledge of sonographic physics, anatomy, and pathology.
• Strong attention to detail, patient care, and communication skills.
