Job Description

Express is seeking a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate Keyholder to join our team. The Part-Time Sales Associate Keyholder provides a great in-store shopping experience for our retail customers and executes opening and closing procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include performing opening and closing procedures such as balancing registers, preparing deposits, and activating the security system; performing overrides at checkout as needed; maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting room, and stockroom to ensure the store is safe and inviting to customers; following company policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all our associates and customers; assisting with product launch changes according to the company SOP; delivering on all aspects of the customer experience model; processing transactions quickly and accurately, reducing the customer's wait time; positively resolving customer service-related issues as they arise and determining a resolution or escalating further, communicating all issues and resolutions to Store Management; driving credit and loyalty member programs by explaining benefits and encouraging customers to participate; and other essential functions may occur as directed by your supervisor.

Required Experience & Qualifications

Required experience and qualifications include education: high school or equivalent; years of experience: 0-2 of relevant job experience - minimum 6 months; proficient in use of technology (iPad, registers); meets defined availability criteria, including nights, weekends and non-business hours; meets physical requirements.

Critical Skills & Attributes

Critical skills and attributes include previous retail experience preferred; customer service skills and ability to interact with customers; strong verbal and written communication skills specifically with customers, sales leadership team and associates; demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.

Actual compensation offered is dependent upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, work location, education, relevant skills and experience of the candidate.

Pay Range

$15.00 - $20.15 per hour
