Job Title: Automation Engineer PLC & Robotic
Location: Libertyville, IL
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Experience Level: 5-7 Years
Job Summary:
Looking for an Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in PLC, robotics, and automation troubleshooting within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and maintain PLC, robotic, molding, and assembly automation systems.
- Diagnose electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical issues.
- Perform robot programming, optimization, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Maintain and calibrate sensors, actuators, conveyors, and vision systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation equipment.
- Support manufacturing processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, FDA, and GMP standards where applicable.
