Residential Insurance Roofing Sales Representative

Innovative Roofing Services is seeking motivated, professional and dependable roofing sales representatives throughout Dallas.

The sales representative will manage each assigned opportunity from the initial customer contact through the completion and final closeout of the roofing project. This includes contacting leads, inspecting properties, documenting storm damage, presenting our services, assisting customers with insurance claims, meeting with insurance adjusters and maintaining communication with customers throughout the entire process.

Innovative Roofing Services provides qualified sales representatives with approximately five to seven company-generated leads per week . Representatives are also encouraged to generate additional business through referrals, networking and neighborhood canvassing.

This commission-based position offers substantial earning and advancement potential for individuals who follow our sales process, provide excellent customer service and consistently close roofing projects.

Compensation

Innovative Roofing Services first receives 10% of the job profit for marketing and lead-generation expenses. The sales representative receives 40% of the remaining commissionable profit .

The initial production goal is approximately one sold roofing project per week . Actual earnings will depend on individual sales performance, job profitability and the number of completed projects.

Advancement & Company Vehicle Opportunity

Innovative Roofing Services offers opportunities for high-performing sales representatives to advance into a Market Manager role as the company grows throughout Texas and other markets.

A company vehicle may also be provided after the representative has demonstrated consistent performance, reliability and compliance with company standards. Eligibility will be based on time with the company, sales production, customer service, proper job management and overall performance.

Primary Responsibilities

• Contact assigned leads promptly and professionally.
• Arrive on time for all scheduled customer appointments.
• Inspect residential roofs and exterior components for hail, wind and other storm-related damage.
• Follow the Innovative Roofing Services inspection process.
• Take complete inspection photographs and upload all required documentation.
• Enter and update customer information, inspection results, notes, appointments and job activity in JobNimbus in real time.
• Explain inspection findings and available roofing options clearly to customers.
• Present Innovative Roofing Services professionally and explain the company's roofing and insurance-claim process.
• Obtain signed contracts and insurance authorization agreements.
• Assist customers with filing insurance claims, preferably while meeting with them at the property.
• Coordinate and attend insurance-adjuster meetings when required.
• Maintain communication with customers throughout the claim, approval and production process.
• Help customers select shingle colors, roofing systems and currently approved company products.
• Coordinate with management and the production team to ensure job information is complete and accurate.
• Follow up regarding deductibles, insurance proceeds and other required payments.
• Remain the customer's primary point of contact from the original lead through project completion.
• Place company yard signs at approved job locations.
• Be present on build day when required to support the customer and production team.
• Take progress and completion photographs.
• Canvas surrounding neighborhoods before, during or after roofing projects to generate additional opportunities.
• Complete all required final job documentation.
• Request a five-star customer review after successful completion.
• Represent Innovative Roofing Services professionally at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous roofing sales, exterior restoration, insurance-claim sales or door-to-door sales experience is preferred.
• Roofing inspection experience is preferred.
• Ability to identify common hail and wind damage.
• Strong communication, presentation and closing skills.
• Comfortable speaking with homeowners and insurance adjusters.
• Self-motivated, dependable and capable of working independently.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple customers and projects at different stages.
• Willingness to learn and follow the Innovative Roofing Services sales and inspection process.
• Ability to use a smartphone, email, CompanyCam, JobNimbus and other company-required applications.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have access to a ladder and be comfortable performing residential roof inspections.
• Must maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
• Must be willing to travel throughout the assigned Texas market.
• Must be available for customer appointments, inspections, adjuster meetings and build-day responsibilities as needed.
