About the Position

Job Title: RN Outpatient Surgery/Day Surgery Profession: RN Specialty: Outpatient Surgery/Day Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 2x3 days Hours per Shift: Varies between 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM and 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS Must-Have: - Experience in Preop and PACU Description: The role involves working in an outpatient surgery and day surgery environment. You will provide care in both preoperative and postoperative settings. On-call requirements include approximately 3-4 weeknight calls and one 24-hour weekend call within an 8-week period. Call requirements may vary based on staffing needs. Weeknight call hours are from 9 PM to 7 AM. Weekend call hours are from 7 AM to 7 AM the following day. The unit includes multiple operating rooms with various specialties such as neuro, plastics, ENT, breast, general, GYN, urology, ortho, vascular, and endoscopy. This position offers an opportunity to work in a community hospital setting with diverse surgical cases.
