SAGE Dining Services is seeking a part-time Dishwasher for a private high school in the West Houston area. We're looking for a dependable team player with a positive attitude who takes pride in cleanliness and efficiency. The ideal candidate has kitchen or food service experience, thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands food allergen awareness, and can multitask while maintaining high standards. Since our school community is highly engaged, a friendly and professional approach to interacting with students and staff is essential.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• 7 a.m. - 2 p.m.
• Occasional catering events

Pay Type:

$17.00 Hourly

What you'll do:

• Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
• Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members and provide service with a smile!
• Dispose of waste and maintain a clean kitchen, properly washing and sorting soiled utensils, dishes and pots.
• Clean, restock, and replenish serving lines and stations to ensure our guests enjoy an exquisite dining experience.
• Set up and break down the dish machine and sanitize equipment in the kitchen.
• Interact with client community and run the register
• Prepare and package items for our grab and go sales area
• Show off your amazing customer service skills

What you'll need:

• Ability to keep all stock areas neat and clean.
• Ability to understand and apply FIFO inventory procedures.
• Prior commercial dishwashing experience preferred, however, we can teach any motivated individual.
• Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English accurately.
• Ability to keep stations stocked with supplies, product and service ware.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude required.
• Great communication skills preferred
