Quality at the source is how we win—and you’ll lead that effort for purchased components.See what we do: challengeStart strong: For each new part, shape the supplier quality plan, assess risks, and steer APQP through to PPAP sign‑off. Join project meetings, engineering reviews, and pilots to protect quality from design through ramp‑up. Build capability: Evaluate and onboard suppliers with Sourcing; run rigorous supplier quality audits; coach teams on our standards; and drive sustainable corrective actions. Resolve fast, learn faster: Lead disposition of nonconforming material and cost recovery, coordinate with Quality Control on classification/escalation, and confirm 8D fixes stick. Make it visible: Report PPM and issue analytics to the Global Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) Manager for action and alignment.
